Toohey Forest is a special place of remnant bushland which was typical of forests that once covered Brisbane and still contains a wide variety of vegetation along its creeks, gullies and ridges and some wildlife eg. koalas, echidnas and birds.  The grasstrees are just beginning to flower now.
