7 km one way so 14 km return walk. Walk is on fire trails, some shale slopes so poles may be useful. Nothing too difficult.

Enjoy a snack/hot flask drink at the lookout with the view over Lake Manchester. Bring a mat to sit on as we can spread out on the low rock boulder.

Meet at Car Park (with Toilets) opposite Brookfield Store at 9am to carpool to Mill Rd . ( so if you are purchasing a coffee arrive earlier.) Hopefully we can begin walk at 9.30 am after drive up narrow winding road.
